It begins here and never ends. Though really, there is no story that begins anywhere and ends somewhere and that is final. That's just what we want to believe, must believe, makes sense. Makes it simpler, a little softer to feel you finally got somewhere. This day began like they all do, with yesterday tagging along. It seems simple. Of course, there is nothing like the feeling of consolidation; relations with whomever, whatever, over, when it was time to slip into another phase when we sometimes called an end to it all and we were so thankful to feel that curtain fall, regretful, disturbed, even developed memory loss. Sex, we all are aware of reaching for the endless top, the ultimate climax whereas we never return, just continue on for eternity, never ending ecstasy, but yea, we all know, that ends too. Ends and beginnings come and go like the wind, never truly here and never truly there, always passing by, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. In the mind it can be different, sometimes near and sometimes far, regardless of the weather, could be rain, could be snow. Near the exit you almost always end up striving towards some new beginning, still wearing your old clothes and shopping for more time.
Good to see your life's work and how you combine your photos with writings. It is very good work and I hope that the right person will see the talent and effort put in to create it. I enjoy reading your work and the art that works together.
I googled sub stack and logged on. I searched on artistic blogs but couldn't find yours. I was able to read other writings without a problem. Do you have the ability to set specific controls? Maybe you have to fine tune it some how? I read Medium daily and Quora which offer similar access for authors. They seem to be more user friendly. How does it work. If you get a subscriber you pay to Substack or do you pay them a portion of what you earn through paying subscribers? I guess your audience would be in the Arts type background. Not sure how you would attract readers to get growth. It seems random?
This platform is very difficult to navigate. Every time I want to comment it tells me to sign in or subscribe. Seems like it is tightly controlled not allowing for ease of communication. The original blog platform was straight forward and simple to use. Also the whole blog history was there to access along with shared comments. I liked that a lot better.
Belief is up to each individual. Free will to choose whatever. There are many choices in this world. If any one forces the choice on someone it is not a valid choice. Each individual has value and is able to choose what they feel is true. Life is temporary, a puff of smoke in the timeline of eternity. Why are we here? Why can we choose? It can't be for nothing? There is no doubt good and evil in existence. If someone says you can be Superman or Superwoman or be a 100 pound weakling what would you choose? Some would probably choose to be a 100 pound weakling. Unfortunately because there is greed and power in this world the stronger ones take advantage of the weak and force them to do their bidding. Bully mentality. Unfortunate as it may be it is the way of this world. There are choices to be not of this world, but to be in the Spirit, but not all will find it due to lack of wisdom. Wisdom is above all the best. Beginning of Wisdom is the fear of God.
