The Ancients passed on their traditions to the next generation and kept it all going. They had purpose. Got satisfaction by doing this. That is important to them and if accomplished they met their time spent here. Living and thinking that there is no purpose is empty. Can't get no satisfaction? Empty, but it exists. Individual choice. Choosing empty void existence is something, just not very fulfilling. Majority of living people have some sort of choices that are fulfilling for them. It's enough. It fills the time . Purpose has been accomplished. Yay team.

Research supports what you say. Studies show that people will make no attempt to remember if they feel assured that they will find the information again.

Storage and retrieval of memories is the issue.

This topic should engage a conversation ...if anybody cares anymore.
